Description

Shooty Skies is a light-hearted endless arcade flyer from the makers of Crossy Road. Players see how long they can stay aloft as waves of robots, viewtube cats, hipsters, aliens, monsters and arcade machines try to bring them down. Soar like an eagle, fight like a fancy octopus, shoot like the dickens!

History

Matt Hall has a few rules for mobile game development: create something you can prototype in 48 hours and build to beta in six weeks, have a way to make money from the game (so you can keep making games) and make sure the game is remarkable. Mighty had several prototypes in testing, Shooty Skies fit Matt’s criteria the best. It riffed off old-school classics like Space Invaders and Galaga but we decided that the heart of the game had to be colour and accessibility. Shooty Skies is all about sharing what we love about those arcade classics with everyone.

Features

  • Simple to enjoy. Steer and shoot with one touch.
  • Adorable pilots
  • Madcap bosses
  • Stackable ship upgrades
  • The endless arcade flyer that’s ace!
